Culture and Mediterranean atmosphere
In 2010, the town won the title of European Capital of Culture.
The town still living a life bubbly. So, it is difficult to narrow down some attractions our trips.
During the walking tour, we can visit the Barbican, which was built in the 15th century.
-the Basilica, (whose consecration itself, Franz Joseph also attended; and in 1991, during the visit of Pope John Paul the “Basilica Minor” title bestowed on the church.)
- the Mosque (16th century)
-the Zsolnay Fountain
-the Early Christian Burial Chambers (UNESCO World Heritage List, from the 4th century), as well as Vasarely and the Zsolnay Museums.
